After Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya tweeted a video, which shows him slamming former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan for a six, on the occasion of the latter’s birthday, it angered cricket fans.
Zaheer Khan was greeted by his former teammates and current Indian cricketers on Twitter on his birthday on 7 October. It was, however, Pandya’s wish that did not please cricket fans all over the country.
Pandya, in his Tweet, said “Happy birthday Zak … Hope you smash it out of the park like I did here Zaheer Khan.”
Khan cheekily responded though to Pandya`s tweet, with a riposte to Pandya’s wish when he tweeted: “Hahahaha….thank you for the wishes Hardik Pandya my batting skills can never be as good as yours but the birthday was as good as the next delivery you faced from me in this match,”
Many cricket fans criticized the present Indian all-rounder for his ‘disrespectful’ and ‘embarrassing’ remarks.
