After the great victory in the historic pink-ball Day-Night Test match against Bangladesh, it is time for cricketers to play in the Ranji trophy. On Monday, 30 names were shortlisted for the Delhi Ranji trophy camp which is going to begin on December 9th against Kerala.
The 30 shortlisted players include Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rishabh Pant. Kohli is, however, unlikely to feature in the tournament because of his Indian international commitments.
Dhawan and Ishant, who don’t play all formats, will be available for selection if not on national duty. Pant will also feature in the tournament. Though he was also the part of the Indian team against Bangladesh, he did not get to play and was released to represent Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T-20 Trophy.
