The return of Shreyas Iyer has seemed to have bolstered them. Iyer’s return enabled Capitals to play both their foreign quicks, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. The duo wreaked havoc and look deadly in these conditions. DC look a solid side, they will be hoping to continue their good run heading into the business end of the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals had a shocking win over Punjab Kings. They were well and truly out of the game until the 19th over of the game. But a stunning Kartik Tyagi turned the tables. He conceded just a single defending 4 runs with the Kings having 8 wickets in the bank. This win would have surely ignited their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. But they will be running into a rampaging DC unit. RR had won their previous fixture against DC if they manage to complete double-over-the-table toppers.
