David Lloyd is a former England cricketer, who is now turned into a commentator. He is a very big fan of the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and according to him, the Indian skipper is the best player to come out of India as he always keeps the interests of the squad above any individual goals.
Lloyd quoted “ Of course, I would pay to watch the England team as a team. Ben Stokes, current vice-captain of the England Test team is box office. But I would choose the Indian captain Virat Kohli. I think he is the best player to come out of the country, India. He is brave and, most importantly, I think above all he always puts his team first. The team has to win first in any condition”
Former England skipper and a British cricket commentator Nasser Hussain included the Indian captain Virat Kohli in a list of five best batsmen he would pay to watch. “Every time in a 50-over run chase, Virat Kohli just seems to chase down any score,” Hussain said.
Speaking about his captaincy, leading the whole Indian team, all-rounder of New Zealand Corey Anderson said that Virat Kohli wore his heart on his sleeve always and that’s the reason, he is a very passionate person.
During a recent Instagram Live session, all-rounder of New Zealand, Corey Anderson said “Both, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are very good captains. But Rohit Sharma is probably a little laid-behind in this captaincy role. He is very passionate, desires to win, but remains it under wraps a little bit more. Virat Kohli wears his jersey on his sleeve and shows tremendous emotion. But as players, both of them take charge of the team always. They are influential natural-born leaders with huge capabilities.”
