Know Who Made Ashwin Nervous In Their First Meeting:
During a time when all cricketing practices worldwide have been suspended due to coronavirus, the Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin participated in a social media question and answer session to reveal a player who made him nervous at their first encounter.
One of the cricket fans asked the Indian Spinner to name a player that made him nervous when he first met him in #AskAshwin session on his official Twitter account.
In reply to the question, Ashwin was quick to reply that it was none other than former Australian opener Matthew Hayden.
In the meantime, another user asked Ashwin to name three players that he would like to include on his side if he had to make a four-member cricket quiz team.
The Indian off-spinner said it would be the legendary cricket player Sachin Tendulkar, Test Batsman Cheteshwar Pujara and former Indian Speedster Zaheer Khan.
Notably, in 2009 and 2010, Ashwin shared the dressing room with Mathew Hayden while playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Ashwin was scheduled to represent Delhi Capitals in the 2020 edition of the IPL T20 tournament
BCCI Looking For New Dates To Conduct IPL 2020:
The most awaited 13th edition of IPL 2020 tournament which was suspended till 15th April, has now been suspended indefinitely. In a recent media statement BCCI officials said, that they were looking for October – November window to conduct the tournament. In the mean time all the players who had returned from foreign tournament, were placed under home quarantine for 14 days. Not only this, all the cricket boards across the globe had suspended all forms of domestic, national and international cricket after health bodies issued advisories stating that mass gatherings would trigger the spread of coronavirus in public, thereby creating health concern on large.
