In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, Indian middle-order batsman Manish Pandey has been in stellar form. Pandey scored a century and four half-centuries in six innings as Karnataka’s skipper in the tournament.
At an average of 80.80, Pandey scored 404 runs at a strike rate of 104.39. In the tournament, he is currently the second-highest run-scorer.
Last year, after the home series against West Indies, Pandey was dropped from the limited-overs squads. However, in ODI and T20I teams during the West Indies tour, the 30-year-old cricketer made a comeback.
His batting performance was below par during the West Indies tour. But at the back of his current form in domestic cricket, Pandey would be looking to make amends at the highest level.
Manish Pandey to tie the knot with Ashrita Shetty
It is reported that Pandey is all set to start a new chapter of his life. The right-hand batsman is going to marry actress Ashrita Shetty in Mumbai on December 2.
According to sources close to Pandey’s family, only close friends and relatives will be involved in the affair of two days. The marriage is slated to take place in Mumbai.
In November at home, the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh will be Pandey’s next international assignment. On December 6, India’s first match of the T20I series against West Indies will be played in Mumbai, while the last match is in Nagpur on November 10th.
Having made her acting debut in P.H. Vishwanath’s Telikeda Boli’ (2012), Shetty was last seen in Kalaprabhu’s ‘Indrajith’ (2017).
