He bagged this award for his heroic performance in the World Cup final against New Zealand and his amazing batting in fourth innings against Australia. Rohit Gurunath Sharma scored five centuries in the ICC World Cup and hit 7 ODI tons in the year 2019. He was the top scorer in the World Cup with 648 runs. Rohit Sharma overall scored 1490 ODI runs in 2019 with an average of 57.30.
Virat Kohli bags three prestigious awards
For the third consecutive year, Virat Kohli received ICC ODI team captain and ICC Test team captain award. He also received the Spirit of cricket award for his gesture towards fans not to boo Steve Smith in the World Cup 2019.
Marnus Labuschagne receives ICC Men’s Emerging player award
Latest cricket sensation Labuschagne bagged an award for his stunning performance with the bat in Test cricket. He had an incredible batting average of 64.94, which is highest among all the active players.
Pat Cummins achieved the Test Cricketer year of the award for his terrific bowling in Test matches. He picked up 59 wickets in 23 innings. Nathan Lyon was the second-highest wicket-taker with 45 wickets.
