BCCI announced CRED as an official partner:
On Tuesday (01-09-2020), BCCI declared CRED as an official partner for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). CRED is a platform for credit card bill payment, situated in Bangalore. The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) took the help of its twitter handle and posted “BCCI has declared CRED as its official partner #Dream11IPL”.
Sourav Ganguly, the president of BCCI replied to the tweet and wrote “Welldone BCCI.. in this tough market condition.”
The IPL chairman, Brijesh Patel said “We are very happy to announce CRED as our official partner of the IPL 2020-2022. All we know that the Indian Premier League is one of the most favourite and innovative tournaments worldwide. And we are happy to collaborate with a unique and innovative brand as CRED. I am pretty much sure that more numbers of people across the nation will take notice of them as we are progressing on this amazing journey.”

The 2020 IPL is scheduled to be continued for 53 days, starting from 19th September to 10th November across the three venues in the UAE- Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. This time, the matches will be played in both afternoon and evening sessions.
