Hemang Amin has been given the interim charge of CEO of BCCI:
The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) has appointed chief operating officer of Indian Premier League (IPL), Hemang Amin as the interim chief executive officer (CEO) of BCCI. A BCCI official said, “BCCI has decided to appoint Hemang Amin has been working as interim chief executive officer (CEO) of BCCI after Rahul Johri.”
Last week, the richest cricket board of the world- BCCI has agreed to accept the resignation of its chief executive officer (CEO), Rahul Johri. A senior BCCI official said, “Rahul Johri had submitted his resignation a couple of months back and it was accepted by the India cricket board today.”
In the year 2016, Rahul Johri was appointed as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Indian cricket board, BCCI when Shashank Manohar was working as the president of BCCI. Previously Rahul Johri resigned when the Supreme court-appointed CoA (Commission of Administrators) and they gave a green signal to Sourav Ganguly to be the president of BCCI.
At that time, Rahul Johri’s resignation was not accepted asked to pursue his contract until 2021. But now, his resignation was accepted. And in that place of Rahul Johri, now Hemang Amin will work as interim chief executive officer (CEO) of the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI).
