Jahanara Alam Carried The Essential Items And Delivered Them Door-To-Door On Her 27th Birthday:
Bangladesh Women’s fast bowler, Jahanara Alam distributed grocery and all essential items to the people, who affected by coronavirus pandemic on her 27th birthday.
On this birthday, she has been serving near around 50 families in Dhaka single-handedly. Like all over the world, Bangladesh also gets affected by the COVID-19, but it hasn’t diminished the spirit of Jahanara Alam.
On being asked about the distributing items, she happily said that it is about taking inspiration from one another in this critical situation.
Jahanara Alam: I Hope People Get encouraged by those people, who are coming forward to help.
Jahanara quoted that “ Here I am not showing off. But for one can get encouragement and inspiration from one another. I am in Dhaka and so, here I have to do all by myself. All these preparations took three days. Today, God helped me to distribute the items.”
The Khulna born Bangladeshi cricketer feels for those people, who have to struggle for their daily food and took the lead and helped them.
She also said “ I hope people get encouragement from those persons, who are coming forward and help the needy people. If someone can help even a single person or one family, it will be great. In this current scenario, a large part of the country is struggling for food. Even if they get lunch, there is no security for dinner. In this condition, they can’t just stay in-home quarantine.”
She added “First of all they want their daily food. So, it is essential to help them, delivering the necessary goods to their doorsteps. Then only they can stay inside the home.”
Other Bangladesh Players’ Contribution:
Other than Jahana, other Bangladeshi players like Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Mashrafe Mortaza, etc. have come forward and given their helping hands to combat the dreadful situations because of coronavirus.
Shakib Al Hasan has also made some contributions through his foundation. Earlier 27 Bangladeshi players donated half of their salaries to the relief fund of Bangladesh.
