Australia is currently on a tour of South Africa for three ODIs series and three T20Is series. The T20Is series started between the teams from the 21st of February. And the first match was won by Australia by beating South Africa by a big margin of 107 runs.
The second match of the series held on 23 February and the South Africa team won the game by 12 runs. The third match which was the series decider took place on February 26 in Cape Town. And the Australian team showed their worth by winning the match by 97 runs.
Remarkable 50s Of Australia’s Champ Warner And Finch
Australia’s champ David Warner and Aaron Finch helped their side to get an inclusive 97-run victory in the series decider match on Wednesday. The duo launched an attacking strike against the South African bowlers.
Warner and Finch opened the match for Australia and showed some action with the bat. Warner scored 57 off 37 while Finch made 55 runs in 37 balls, and led Australia to pile up at 193-5. But later in the 12th over, the duo were separated after making a partnership of 120 runs.
Finch got the man of the series award for his aggressive batting and sharp captaincy. And apart from some powerful performance with the bat, both the players forced the South Africans into fielding mistakes with their aggressive running between wickets.
Wrong Decision Of South Africa Skipper
South Africa won the toss and the skipper Quinton de Kock’s decision to bowl remarkably went wrong. The Australian bowlers bowled out South Africa for just 96.
South Africa failed to get off to a good start, and Rassie van der Dussen of the side made the highest score which was just 24 runs in 19 balls and later dismissed by Ashton Agar.
