Matthew Mott Invoice:
Australia coach Matthew Mott said that “Ellyse is an important player of our squad and since long she has been playing. We are upset that she won’t be able to finish the tournament”.
Also, he added that “Always she gives her full effort whenever she plays for her country and that happened during the match against New Zealand. She played selflessly in which she involved herself into her batting, bowling as well as fielding performances.
“We are pretty much sure that we have sufficient strength in the squad to cover up her batting along with bowling and know whoever obtains a chance will contribute a solid impact.”
The final Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
