Australia’s captain, Aaron Finch, trusted Marsh to make effective use of the ball, later on, taking Chris Gayle, Lendl Simmons, and Nicholas Pooran wickets. At the conclusion of the day, Andre Russell was best at keeping West Indies hunted, but Mitchell Starc bowled for the last 6 runs and awarded them to Australia.

In addition to Marsh, Finch contributed 53 runs to offer Australia’s middle-order batsmen a reason to attack. But in the final 10 overs of the innings, West Indies stood tough and scored 77 runs for 5 wickets.

Marsh at No.3 stood ‘Rock Solid’ for Australia

For Men in Yellow, it was the Marsh show everywhere. He registered several important scores for his side in this specific year. The hitting all-rounder has obviously increased his game by showing his enormous bat potential to the world. At number 3 he was rock solid for Australia, holding the inputs and giving the opposition worries with his attacking abilities.

The Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis opening pair in West Indies started out by forming a 62-runs opening stand until the first breakthrough for 31 was made by Adam Zampa. Simmons remained with running but ended up losing the wickets at another end, which ruined the Windies running attempt. Andre Russell was ending since he did not take one in the final when it required 10 runs.

Australia will face Windies in the final T20-International of the five-match series on Friday (July, 16) with confidence after a win. Windies, on the other hand, are quite in negotiating with such circumstances.
