Virat Kohli is currently going through a great phase in his cricketing career. Under his leadership, Team India has won seven matches in the World Test Championship and has a massive 360 points on its scorecard.
Kohli and the team beat the West Indies, followed by the demolition work of South Africa, and now Bangladesh is bearing their brunt. The visitors have been no match to the strong Indian setup. Their last victory came against Mominul Haque’s Tigers at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It was the famous pink-ball Day-Night Test and India showed why they are a strong team.
India won the game the innings by 46 runs and the match ended in a just over a couple of days. Virat also registered his name as the first Indian batsman to bag a century in a pink-ball Test and achieved the feat on the second day of the match. It was not only India’s 12 consecutive Test win at home, but it also managed to make their longest winning track of seven victories in the format.
After his magnificent success, Anushka Sharma, Virat’s wife, would have been overwhelmed. The Bollywood actress came to receive Kohli at the airport. She was dressed casually in a pink hoodie. On the other hand, Virat was wearing black track pants and a shirt with white sneakers. As soon as Virat entered the car, Anushka greeted him with a warm hug, expressing her love and happiness for her husband.
Both of them have been very appreciative of each other and were married in December 2017. They have a choc-a-block schedule, yet manage to find time for each other. May a time, fans have accused Anushka of occasional failures of Kohli.
However, both have stood for each other in the toughest of times, answering their critics befittingly. Earlier in November, Virat celebrated his birthday with Anushka amidst the mountains of Bhutan enjoying the bliss of love and nature.
