U-19 World Cup Semi-Final
Coming into the much-expected clash between India vs Pakistan in the U-19 World Cup semi-final. Pakistan team was going nicely at 146 for four in the 34th over.
The team looked all set to make a huge score on the scoreboard. But all the set-up changed after the involvement of Divyansh Saxena.
Outstanding Catch By Divyansh Saxena
Muhammad Haris was playing good and had given the much-needed strength to Pakistan’s innings. With hitting the only six of the Pakistan innings, he scored 21 runs from just 14 balls.
But as he struck a delivery to the square-leg boundary. The young Indian player Divyansh Saxena moved right and then put a full-length dive to complete an outstanding catch that left the opponent team shocked.

This catch changed the whole game for the Pakistan team. From taking the match to their side in the beginning, they quickly lost their way to hand over the initiative to India.
They were totally collapsed after losing Haris’s wicket. Adding only 26 runs, they lost the next five wickets and were finally bowled out for 172 runs in the 43.1 overs.
Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bat but soon lost their opener Muhammad Hurraira who scored just 4 runs in the second over. Fahad Munir after playing 16 balls, was dismissed for a duck.
Rohail Nazir and Haider Ali then fixed the Pakistan innings by scoring a 62-run partnership. Later a simple delivery from Jaiswal dismissed Haider and the next player Qasim Akram included himself in yet another comical run-out for the Pakistan team.
Indian Players Taking Wickets
Sushant Mishra taking three wickets for 28 runs in 8.1 overs was the pick of the bowlers for India.
Kartik Tyagi and Ravi Bishnoi also gave some support as they took two wickets each.
India’s star player Yashasvi Jaiswal removed Haider Ali who scored 56 runs and made a place amongst the wickets while Atharva Ankolekar also counted in with a wicket.
