India Tour of West Indies 2022:
Team India’s next tour to the Caribbean is all set to start on 22nd July. The team will leave for a three-match ODI and five-match T20 series after the England tour is over. The complete Indian Camp will be traveling on a charter jet according to the BCCI. On Monday, the ODI team flew out of Manchester to the Islands.
Shikhar Dhawan will captain the squad. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, and Sanju Samson will join the 16-player ODI team. The three did not participate in the ODI series with England. By Tuesday, they are expected in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The remaining members of the team, together with the coaching staff, led by head coach Rahul Dravid, will fly directly from Manchester.
Virat Kohli will remain in London, though, since he has taken a sabbatical and is not participating in the West Indies Tour. Along with him, his family will relocate to an unidentified part of England. He’ll only return for the Asia Cup, which gets underway on August 27.
Before the five-match T20 series, regular skipper Rohit Sharma will take a little holiday to the Caribbean to rest up. It is up to him, even though he is anticipated to go on the charter on Tuesday.
In addition, Rishabh Pant will have a little break before re-joining the team for the T20 series, which begins on July 29. By July 27, Rishabh and Rohit must both return to the team.
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami, the lead pacers of the team are also rested for the tour. They will miss both ODI and T20I series.

The ODIs between West Indies and India will begin the white-ball series on July 22, 24, and 27 at Trinidad.
