The Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli, who is known for his extraordinary batting form and also his fitness standards, sometimes likes to pamper himself with chole bhature, his favorite cheat meal.
Currently, Kohli is in Pune to play the third and final T20 match that is going to be held between Sri Lanka and India. He used the Twitter platform to state that chole bhature was his cheat meal in a comical analogy.
The Indian player compared his favorite food to the concentration and the focus required while facing a bowler. He tweeted that the ball out of the bowler’s hand and chholle bhature for a cheat meal deserve the same focus. With this, he added a picture from his training session on Thursday.
Indian team leads the three-match T20I series 1-0 after the first T20I in Guwahati was called off due to the wet pitch without a single ball being bowled.
In the second T20I match held in Indore, the right-arm fast bowler, Navdeep Saini, led a decent bowling performance to set up a win of 7 wicket win on Tuesday.
KL Rahul topped the scoreboard with a score of 45 after his return from injury. Shikhar Dhawan made 32 and put on a partnership of 71 for the opening wicket to establish a comfortable platform for the Indian team to chase on a good batting pitch.
The Indian captain Virat Kohli hit a winning six and made an unbeaten 30. The young Shreyas Iyer scored 34 before he got out.
The credit, however, goes to Indian bowlers who made the way for the Indian team’s victory after Kohli won the toss and elected to field first.
The final T20I match is in Pune on Friday.
