Prasidh Krishna is an Indian Right-arm fast bowler who can constantly bowl at the speed of 140-145 kph. Prasidh Krishna is known for his accurate line and length and also has the ability to take wickets in the starting as well as slog overs. On his debut, Prasidh Krishna made a record of taking 4 wickets on the Debut by any Indian Fast bowler. In TATA IPL 2022, Prasidh Krishna was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals in the mega auction for a whopping amount of 10 crores.

Prasidh Krishna started off playing cricket from the age of 7 years. Prasidh did his schooling at Carmel School in Padmanabhanagar in Bangalore. During his early days, Prasidh was a sports freak and used to be a part of every sport in the school like volleyball, badminton and cricket. Eventually, his interest started to develop in the cricket when he used to imitate bowling action of many bowlers of his time. Prasidh wanted to develop the bowling action of his role model and former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee. He attended Mahaveer Jain College for his graduation in Bachelor of Commerce.

Prasidh Krishna made his domestic debut for Karnataka in year 2015 in a match against Bangladesh A. In his first-class debut match, Prasidh Krishna took a five wicket haul and gained praise from everyone. Prasidh helped his team in winning the match.
In 2017, Prasidh Krishna made his List A debut for Karnataka in Vijay Hazare Trophy and his T20 debut in 2018 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament.
In 2018, Prasidh Krishna joined MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai where he took the coaching from former Australian bowlers Glenn McGrath and Jeff Thompson which helped him in modifying his skillset in the fast bowling.
In 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy Tournament, Prasidh Krishna emerged as the leading wicket taker for his state team and bagged 13 wickets in seven matches.
In the same year, Prasidh Krishna got selected in the team of India A for the Quadrangular series and then in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup tournament in England.
In Ranji Trophy 2021-22, Prasidh Krishna bagged his maiden 10-wicket haul in a match against Jammu & Kashmir and earned the Player of the Match award.

Prasidh Krishna was picked up in the Indian squad for the series against England and made his International Debut on 23 March 2021 in an ODI match. Prasidh took 4 wickets in the match and became first Indian player to achieve the record on debut in past 24 years.
Prasidh Krishna was also picked up in the Test squad for India in a series against England but did not get a chance to play the match and just warmed the bench.
Prasidh Krishna was then selected in the ODI team for the series against West Indies in which Prasidh took 4 wickets in the second match and 3 wickets in the third match and won Man of the Match award as well as Man of the Series Award.
Recently, Prasidh is included in the squad for a remaining Test against England.
