Gade Hanuma Vihari, famously known as Hanuma Vihari was born in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India on 13 October 1993. Hanuma Vihari is an Indian right-hand middle-order batter. Hanuma Vihari made his debut in the Tests for India in 2018 but hasn’t got many chances since his debut. Vihari has performed well in all the matches he played for the national side. Hanuma Vihari was part of India’s Under-19 squad that won the Under-19 ICC World Cup in 2012. Hanuma Vihari has also been a part of IPL for a few years but didn’t get to play many matches as he is often considered a pure Test batter. Vihari played his last IPL match in season 2019 for Delhi Daredevils.

Hanuma Vihari started his domestic career in 2010 while playing for Hyderabad. He played some matches for Hyderabad in 2010 and 2011.
In 2012, Hanuma Vihari was picked up in the Under-19 squad for India for the Under-19 World Cup. Hanuma Vihari didn’t perform well in the tournament
and only managed to score 71 runs in 7 matches. However, India won the tournament.

In the historic test series against Australia in 2020-21, Hanuma Vihari scored 23 runs in 161 balls and helped India in ending the match on draw. Vihari continued the batting even with the hamstring injury and saved the match for his team.
