Yuvraj Singh Feels Young Cricketers Working Hard On Social Media

Social Media Has Become One Of The ‘Must-Do’ Platforms For Youngsters:

The young cricketers and other sportsmen constantly spending their time on social media. Nowadays Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Twitter are the main platforms of sharing information with the fans. Fans also getting sources of information from these social media apps.

Even the players are also constantly posting photos or videos on social media either aware of people or interact with people. During this lockdown time, several players are active or engage with fans through social networking sites, which has been one of the most preferable ways that hold young people up-to-date with the world.

The former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has also been involved on social media due to Coronavirus Lockdown. He is using social media to talk to several current cricketers on Instagram Live.

Recently In an Instagram live chat Jasprit Bumrah and Yuvraj took a dig at young cricketers of today and their activities on social media. Yuvraj feels that young cricketers are attempting so hard to be something that they are not on social media.

They Become What They Are Not- Yuvraj Singh

“I feel they are working very hard. They become what they are not when they are on social media,” Yuvraj said

“I’ve seen a number of players who are actually really good but then become someone different on social media,” the 39-year-old former cricketer said.

Bumrah, 26, also agreed with India’s 2011 World Cup hero, claiming they are finding recognition on social media these days.

“I’ve noticed young players seek social media identification. The people claim they’re fine. The views of the people should not affect the perception and it should not matter. You need to have self-confidence, “the right-arm fast bowler, Bumrah said.

Once Andrew Tye began naming him ‘Yuvi pa’ during IPL 2018, Yuvraj also disclosed how he decided to retire from the game. 

“While playing with you (Jasprit Bumrah) guys in the final stages of my career I realized I should retire. But when I was playing the IPL for Kings XI Punjab and Andrew Tye, the Australia fast bowler began calling me ‘Yuvi pa‘ in 2018, I personally thought of retirement first,” Yuvraj told Bumrah.
