New Zealand current standing captain Mr. Kane Stuart Williamson is born on 8th August 1990. Williamson is a right-handed batsman and is a part-time off-spin bowler.
Williamson is termed as the world’s “Most Complete Batsman Of This Era”. He has also captained SunRiser’s Hyderabad in Indian Premier League and plays for Northern Districts in domestic cricket in New Zealand and has also played for both Gloucestershire and Yorkshire in English county cricket.
Kane Williamson has made his first-class debut on December 2007. He has made his Under-19 debut against India and in the same year, he has been named as the captain of New Zealand U-19 team for the year 2008 in U-19 Cricket world cup.
Williamson has made his international debut in the year 2010 against India and made an excellent knock of 131 runs. He has represented New Zealand 2011, 2015 and 2019 editions of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup and 2012, 2014 and 2016 edition of the ICC World Twenty20.
He made his full-time captaincy for New Zealand in the year 2016 ay ICC World Twenty20 in India. And Captained the side in this year edition of World Cup and has led the team to the finals, unfortunately, they have not lifted the trophy. And Kane Williamson has been awarded as the player of the Tournament.
