The Indian Premier League 2022 is set to begin on March 26, 2022, and will conclude on May 29, 2022. The 15th season of the IPL featured two new franchises, the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The Prestigious League will now include a total of 10 teams. Along with the existing eight teams, the BCCI urged the new teams to adopt the retentions policy. Let us see  Will The IPL Two New Teams Make Miracles?

The two new franchises have equipped their materials with required players in the recently concluded TATA IPL 2022 mega auctions and are ready to make their debut in the mammoth event.

#Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

KL Rahul, Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi were acquired before the auctions by the Super Giants. The team used all of its expenditures to purchase 18 players during the bidding process. The team’s preferred option, Avesh Khan, was worth 10 crores, whereas Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Quinton De Kock, Manish Pandey, and Jason Holder were among the other notable players acquired by the Lucknow franchise. KL Rahul will captain the team.

Lucknow Super Giants Squad: KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Avesh Khan, Manish Pandey, Jason Holder, Deepak Hooda, K Gowtham, Ravi Bishnoi, Mark Wood, Dushmantha Chameera, Shahbaz Nadeem, Manan Vohra, Ankit Rajpoot, Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badoni, Mayank Yadav, Kyle Mayers, K Gowtham, Karan Sharma, Evin Lewis.

#Gujarat Titans (GT)

Ahmedabad-based franchise acquired Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and Rashid Khan before the IPL auction in 2022. Titans grabbed 20 players at the bidding process. Big names secured at the auctions notably Jason Roy, Mohammed Shami, Rahul Tewatia, David Miller, Lockie Ferguson, and Alzarri Joseph. Hardik Pandya has been picked as the franchise’s captain for the IPL 2022 season.

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya will be holding the reins tightly in order to build a successful foundation in their debut tournament with their respective teams. Both teams have made sensible judgments and have a clear vision of where they want to spend to establish a powerful team.

Based on their respective bench strength, both sides appear to be confident of posting some amazing outings and will be aiming to make their debut IPL season unforgettable and will be seeking to lift the IPL trophy to enhance their confidence to the next standard. However, much more drama and perhaps miracles can be expected from the 2 additional teams in the gala tournament.
