West Indies has announced their 13-men squad, where they have included allrounder Keemo Paul by replacing fast bowler Miguel Cummins in the second Test against India at Jamaica.
Earlier, Paul was out of the first Test due to an ankle injury but now he has completely recovered from it.
Miguel Cummins came out with just 69 runs in 20 overs across both the innings and went wicketless in the Test. After a huge defeat faced by the West Indies team, the only change the selectors came out with was the replacement of Cummins.
The wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich who has been the West Indies first choice is yet to be recovered from his knee injury. So, the selectors are likely to go with Shai Hope for wicketkeeping as they did in the first Test and as a back-up keeper, Jahmar Hamilton is been included in the 13-member squad.
The series is a part of the World Test Championship and is the only opportunity to West Indies to fetch their first points via a draw or a win in the second and final Test, that will begin on August 30. India has already set their stand with 60 points following the win in Antigua.
