MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are two captains who defined India’s supremacy in the past decade. While MS Dhoni started the decade with a World Cup-winning six in 2011, Virat Kohli, on the other, finished the decade with the highest ODI runs under his name. Both the players are special in their own ways and have been rightfully looked-up as a “Demigod-Esque” figure by Indian fans all-over the world.

Both the players are seldom compared with each other but Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have always shared a close relationship. Indian skipper Virat Kohli gives huge credits to MS Dhoni for his glorious career as the former Indian skipper showed faith in young Kohli even when he was consecutively failing to perform.

Fan re-creates a song with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in it

Virat Kohli has nothing but respect for MS Dhoni and the 32-year-old has made it obvious on many occasions. Interestingly, a fan of both the Indian legends recently made a very warm video featuring both the dignities of Indian cricket. A cricket fan by the name of Vinay used a face-swap app to re-create an iconic Hindi song with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in it. Vinay edited MS Dhoni as Kishore Kumar and Virat Kohli as Sunil Dutt in the song “Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein” from the movie Padosan. The video also features Anushka Sharma as Saira Banu. Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni will be up against each other in the upcoming edition of the Dream11 Indian Premier League. While Virat Kohli still awaits his first IPL trophy, MS Dhoni will be desperate to get his mojo back after a horrendous IPL season in 2020.
