David Warner, who is an Australian International cricketer was in headlines because of brilliant gesture. Australian cricket had been hit hard by the ball-tampering scandal, but they quickly turned it around and tried to return to their best.

Over the past few months, Australia has been nothing short of exceptional, winning Aussie fans ‘ hearts all over the globe with their performances on the field. Australian cricketers seem to do the right things off the field as well, not just on the field.

David Warner Shows His Brilliant Gesture

A video started on Twitter on Tuesday, where Australia opener David Warner can do some batting practice, and as the left-hander makes his way off the ground, he’s seen handing his bat in the crowd to a young fan.

Cricket Australia chief Kevin Roberts posted the video with the likes of Dean Jones responding to it on his official Twitter account.

Australia routed New Zealand on Monday to secure a 3-0 series sweep by 279 runs in the Sydney Test. Nathan Lyon finished the match with his second five-wicket haul.

In their first innings, Australia had scored 454, driven by a double-century maiden Test by Marnus Labuschagne. Despite the fifty battle of debutant Glenn Phillips, they were skittled out by a Lyon-inspired Australia for 256.

Then David Warner bagged his 24th-century Test as Australia declared 217/2. Lyon and Mitchell Starc had a positive result in taking away any expectations New Zealand had, as the visitors fell for a meek 136.

The victory for Australia, who won all five Tests they played, ensured a perfect home season.

Australia was unsurpassed this season, winning all five home Tests — two against Pakistan and three against New Zealand — after retaining the Ashes by drawing the 2-2 series in England.
