Wasim Akram blasts Star Sports network on Air

Asia Cup kicked off on Saturday night with Sri Lanka facing Afghanistan, where Afghanistan beat mighty Sri Lanka in a dominating fashion, and on Sunday night India faced Pakistan where India beat Pakistan in a thrilling style.

The level of entertainment is not slowing down with the amazing fixtures taking place. In yesterday’s match between India and Pakistan, one such incident took place which is now catching the buzz around social media.

Former Pakistan fast bowler was seen slamming Indian broadcast network Star Sports for making a mistake in displaying wrong Pakistan playing XI before the game against India in the second match.

Actually what happened was the Star Sports broadcast network displayed wrong Pakistan playing eleven where the channel showed the name of Hasan Ali instead of showing Shahnawaz Dahani’s name this incident made the Pakistani pacer angry at the blunder made by the broadcast channel.

After noticing the mistake the broadcast network tried to apologize to the Pakistan pacer but the fast bowler replied in a harsh way saying “Don’t keep me happy, keep that guy happy who has put the wrong team on television. It’s a big game and that is not a little mistake. However, now the changes are made, it’s gone. Shahnawaz Dahani is playing, that’s a good thing.”

The India vs Pakistan match was a thriller, as usual, where team India looked like there were about to crash but all-rounder Hardik Pandya smashed all odds and made sure that India would cross the line.

Pakistan tried its best but was unable to stop India from winning the match. Two matches are finished now in the group stages and the excitement is just building up.

30th Aug – Bangladesh vs Afghanistan – Sharjah
31st Aug – India vs Hong Kong – Dubai
