Virat Kohli, the captain of Team India became the first Indian who has marked 50M followers on the social media platform. In India, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is on the second position with 49.9 followers while behind her Deepika Padukone has captured third place with 44.1 followers.

Currently, Kohli is leading the Indian team in New Zealand. As we know that India had blanked New Zealand during the 5-match T20I series. In response, New Zealand hit back India and whitewashed the 3-match ODI series with 3-0.

Now, the concentration is on the Test series, in which team India is on the number 1 position and will look to enhance their performance in the World Test Championship in a positive way.

Head coach Ravi Shastri said that ” To compete at Lord’s, we are required to get 100 points.” Out of six Tests if we win two overseas then we will find us in a better position. This year we play six Tests abroad which include two Tests in New Zealand, followed by four Tests in Australia later in this year.

Ravi Shastri Wants Indian Team To Be No. 1 in Test Format

” We have to play the other games Like a No. 1 Test team of the world because that’s the thing on which we concentrate more than anything. On the Test front, we are looking for it.”

Due to the consistency in selection and the understanding of players to play their roles in a good way, the players can perform well in Tests. But the injuries are complicating the things for the players before the first test.

This difficulty can’t move the belief of Shastri. According to him, this gives a great opportunity for the other players to make their presence felt in the team.  The absence of Rohit Sharma has opened the gate for Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw to show their talents.
