Virat Kohli Sends Welcome Back Message To Sachin Baby As He Returns To RCB Franchise

Sachin Baby hails from Kerala and has represented India before. He made his IPL debut in 2013 for Rajasthan Royals but managed to play only one match. He got picked by RCB in 2016, where he played for 2 seasons. Sachin Baby was then purchased by SRH in 2018 but did not find a place in the team even once. Let’s know more about Sachin Baby Auction and Sachin Baby Auction Price in IPL 2021.

This year in the IPL Auction 2021, he was picked by his old team RCB for his base price of 20 lakh rupees. Sachin Baby has been consistent with his bat which kept the Kerala cricketer on scout’s radar as he continues to fight in his cricketing career.

Sachin Baby Talked About His Experiences With RCB Family

Recently, the domestic star was in an exclusive chat with CricTracker. He opened on his variety of experiences with the RCB family, and added that one of the most emotional moment for him in his career was losing the 2016 IPL final.

“Yes, I was quite emotional because I really believed that I would be able to get that for my team, but it couldn’t happen. Kohli lauded everyone for their efforts. He owned everything and made us believe that all this is a part and parcel of the game” said Sachin Baby.

After getting picked up by RCB for his base price of 20 lakh rupees, the first thing Sachin Baby saw after the bid was the message from Virat Kohli. “He messaged me, Welcome back to RCB.” “I cannot tell how blessed and grateful I feel to be part of this team, and this message made me really happy”, Sachin Baby added.

To hand their middle-order a boost, the RCB franchise bought Australian heavy-hitter, Glenn Maxwell, for ₹14.25 crore, despite the horror Maxwell had in the UAE. RCB bought New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson for ₹15 crores. Sachin Baby, Rajat Patidar, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Suyash Prabhudesai, and KS Bharat were the uncapped players bought by RCB at the auctions.

This might be the year for RCB. Bowlers like Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Siraj, W Sundar, Kyle Jamieson are all in decent form. Run machines like Virat Kohli, Ab De Villiers, Devdutt Padikkal and Glenn Maxwell will lead the side from the front.
