Virat Kohli posts one-word tweet, replies to Babar Azam ‘stay strong’ message

Virat Kohli is presently experiencing his career’s most difficult period. He has been trying to get a century since November 22nd, 2019, but it wasn’t happening.

There was the time when he alone took the responsibility of scoring the runs and put his team forward every time. But, from the three years he was seen struggling. Even this year, he found it difficult to stay at the crease.

In the ongoing series against England, Kohli once again failed to create any impact with just 31 runs in 2 test innings, followed by 12 runs in two T20s and after missing the first ODI due to groin injury, scored just 16 in the second ODI.

What Virat Kohli posted on Twitter?

Amid his low form, Kohli on Saturday took to twitter to share a picture of him with an inspiring message.

In the post, Kohli can be seen sitting in front of an artistic work which has two wings with a quote: “What if I fall… Oh but my darling, what if you fly.”

Replying to Kohli’s post, Kevin Pietersen said: “You go big guy! People can only dream what you’ve done in cricket. And they’re some of the best players that have played the game.”

What Babar Azam said about Virat Kohli?

Notably, the current captain of Babar Azam recently posted an image of him with Kohli on Social Media with a captain – This too shall pass.

Kohli on Saturday also gave a reply to Babar Azam’s tweet wrote, Thank you. Keep shining and rising Wish you all the best.

Virat will be seen in national jersey on Sunday when India and England will lock horns for the third and final ODI at Old Trafford in Manchester to decide the winner of the series.

The series is currently on 1-1 level, as India won the first game of the series by 10 wickets on Tuesday, but England then bounced back strongly in second ODI and defeated the mighty Indian side by a huge margin of 100 runs to level the series.
