Tymal Mills, a bowler for the Southern Brave, will miss the remainder of the Hundred because of an injury, but he is eager to participate in Pakistan’s seven-match T20I series.

After suffering a thigh injury, Mills was forced to withdraw from the last T20 World Cup in the UAE. In England’s domestic summer T20Is, he has only participated in one game.

Prior to the start of Hundred, the toe issue flared up once more, therefore he missed the opening match. However, he was unable to have much of an effect when he came back for the game against the Birmingham Phoenix.

He was disqualified from the competition following two operations—one on Friday morning and the other five days later. England will be hoping that Mills recovers fast since they rely on his death bowling prowess.

The Southern Brave are looking for possibilities to take his place, but the fast bowling position is not particularly well-stocked. Having lost two of their first three games, their campaign has also gotten off to a bad start.

Brave will be able to find a substitute for Mills, but they are having a problem with their fast bowlers’ availability. They may need to win all five of their remaining group games to get to the knockout stages after two losses in their first three games.

Craig Overton was scheduled to play on Sunday against the Oval Invincibles, but it is unlikely that he will take the field after complaining of back discomfort while representing the England Lions. Meanwhile, George Garton is being carefully watched after Long Covid, while Chris Jordan suffered a cut to his finger in their Friday night loss to London Spirit.

Southern Brave squad:

Danny Briggs, Quinton de Kock, Paul Stirling, Chris Jordan, Marcus Stoinis, James Fuller, Colin de Grandhomme, James Vince, Max Waller, Liam Dawson, Ross Whiteley,
Alex Davies, Craig Overton, Michael Hogan, Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Delray Rawlins, George Garton, Tim David, Devon Conway, Jake Lintott, Gus Atkinson, Archie Lenham.
