IPL 2019 edition auction has been a nightmare for all the franchise. The highest bid players in this edition of the tournament have failed to make an impression. However, there are few players who had a decent tournament till now.

Here is the list of most expensive players sold at IPL Auction 2019:

  • Jaydev Unadkat to RR for Rs 8.4 crore
  • Varun Chakravarthy to KXIP for Rs 8.4 crore
  • Sam Curran to KXIP for Rs 7.20 crore
  • Colin Ingram to DC for Rs 6.40 crore
  • Shivam Dube to RCB for Rs 5 crore
  • Mohit Sharma to CSK for Rs 5 crore
  • Axar Patel to DC for Rs 5 crore
  • Carlos Brathwaite to KKR for Rs 5 crore
  • Mohammed Shami to KXIP for Rs 4.80 crore
  • Prabhsimran Singh to KXIP for Rs 4.80 crore
  • Nicholas Pooran to KXlP for Rs 4.20 crore
  • Shimron Hetmyer to RCB for Rs 4.20 crore

J.Unadkat and Varun Chakravarthy were the highest bid for the season and both the players are finding hard time in the field. Unadkat had few matches in his pocket still failed to impress. Varun has played only one match so far.

Sam Curran impressed with his Hat-trick but right after that game, he failed in many occasion’s and now is on the bench.

C.Ingram is the only player who played all the matches for DC. He looked promising with bat and contributed crucial runs to DC .

Shivam Dube had the highest expectation from the RCB fans and franchise because of his excellent domestic figures but failed to impress on a bigger stage. Now, this player has less chance of playing.

Mohit Sharma Still has not played a single game for CSK.

Axar Patel has contributed a decent performance with ball and bat. But missed a few games in the season due to poor performance.

Carlos Braithwaite has played only two matches still haven’t shown his full strength.

M.Shami, Prabhsimran Singh, N.Pooran are in KXlP. Shami looked promising with the ball and is one of the death bowlers for the team. Simran Singh still has not got a chance to play for the team. N.Pooran has performed well as a wicketkeeper but still has not made his mark as a batsman.

Shimron Hetmyer has been a disaster buy for RCB every match he played he scored only in single digits. Now, this player finds himself on the bench.
