The next major cricket competition, the Asia Cup 2022, is anticipated to thrill spectators from around the globe. The top cricket competition is scheduled to take place in August and September of 2022, following a 4-year hiatus. The 2022 Asia Cup will start on August 27. The tournament’s final game will take place on September 11.

This time T20 format will be used for the competition. The Asia Cup 2022 will include a total of 6 teams. Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and the five confirmed teams. After the qualification round, one more team will enter the competition.

  3. Mohammad Nabi (AFG)
    The top-ranking allrounder in the ICC Rankings in the T20 format, Mohammad Nabi surely carries a lot of experience with him. The Afghan captain strikes the ball at 140+ and has 70+ wickets in the format. He will lead his team from the front and it will be a delight to watch him play.
  4. Rohan Mustafa (UAE)
    UAE is likely to be the last team to join the Asia Cup 2022 as a contestant and the Rohan Mustafa makes it a good opponent to play against. The allrounder is at 5th spot in the ICC Player Ranking and it justifies his game. It will be interesting to see him perform amidst the big guns of the game in the cup.
  5. Wanindu Hasaranga
    The all-rounder made quite some name when he joined RCB camp this year. Since then, his confidence has been on top. He has consistently performed for Srilanka and will play an important role in the Asia Cup as well.
