Top 4 RCB Players Who Left Without Playing A Single Game

The Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise has always faltered in the field of player management. The franchise has never looked beyond their gigantic superstars, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. There are hardly a few players who have outgrown the shadow of these two giants. The RCB management has been guilty of not trusting their players enough. Stay with us to know about RCB Players Who Lost Their Contracts Here are RCB Stars who Couldn’t get Chance in IPL.

RCB Stars who Couldn’t get Chance in IPL

#4 Karn Sharma

Karn Sharma is a domestic veteran. He has forever been part of the IPL. But Sharma finally found a team to express himself in SRH in 2013. He out-bowled Amit Mishra when they both played for Hyderabad. But not many might be aware of the fact that Karn Sharma was once part of RCB. He sadly never got a game till the time he represented them in the IPL. A utility all-rounder like Karn Sharma sure deserved a game in RCB colors.

#3 Subramaniam Badrinath

Subramaniam Badrinath was CSK’s backbone. He represented the Chennai franchise with distinction in the first 6 IPL seasons. He was called CSK’s Mr. Cricket. Badrinath was a gun fielder too. His skillet was ideally suited for the T20 game. RCB bought him for the same reason in IPL 2014. But they did not give Badrinath a single chance to showcase his skills. He was benched right through the season in 2014 and he never played the IPL again.

#2 Jalaj Saxena

Jalaj Saxena is probably the unluckiest cricketer in this era. His career graph eerily resembles Amol Muzumdar who was another domestic stalwart but sadly never got to play a game for India. Saxena was part of RCB’s setup but the veteran allrounder never got a game in the RCB jersey. He could bat, he could bowl but probably that isn’t enough in a team like RCB.

#1 Steve Smith

The non-inclusion of Steve Smith makes a mockery of the entire setup. Smith might not have been the player then as he is right now but that doesn’t discount the fact that the whole management lacks vision in spotting talent. Steve Smith never got a game for RCB. But he made an instant impression playing for Pune Warriors India. A young Smith even went on to lead the PWI outfit in 2013 itself.
