However, his fellow batters were unable to support him for most of the innings, and got dismissed for low scores. Henry Shipley who faced 17 balls had a strike rate of 235 and hit around 5 sixes to put on a total of 169/7 for Otago.

Otago’s Strong Endurance

Otago is a team that has been showcasing their endurance this season with a strong winning record, which is why they are at the top of the table. Otago had a strong target in front of them, but they didn’t shy away from this challenge.

Their Opener Dale Phillips’ 45 and all-rounder Dean Foxcroft’s 60 not out, helped Otago al the win for 170/5 in 18 overs. Dean Foxcroft was named the man of the match for his performance with both the bat and ball.
