Their juggernaut was halted when they lost the toss for the first time. Gujarat asked SRH to bat. The orange army despite posting a huge score failed to defend it. It started their losing streak again. SRH has now lost three on the trot. They will be eager to get back to winning ways.

The perennial challengers for the title, RCB were fearing whether they are repeating the mistakes of the past. After a strong start to the tournament, RCB stuttered. They went on to lose three games in a row. RCB (against SRH) were shot out for 68, the lowest score posted this season. They failed to chase down a score of 145 against RR. It was the lowest score that a team failed to chase this season.
RCB failed to defend a below-par score against GT. The three losses exasperated RCB fans. They started fearing if RCB are going to go down without a fight. And thankfully they did! RCB went on to win a close game against CSK. It lifted the spirits of their fans. With this win, the sixth of their season, they are now back into the playoffs race big time.
