Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2023 Retained & Released Players List: Full Squad Update, Remaining Purse

Hyderabad will arrive at the IPL 2023 auction with a budget big bag of INR 42.25 crore. They can buy up to 13 cricketers, of whom at most four can be overseas.  

Hyderabad has now had two underwhelming seasons on the trot. In 2021, they finished last, winning three out of 14 matches. In 2022, after releasing captain David Warner, at one point they threatened to qualify for the playoffs before fizzling out. They have now released Warner’s replacement Kane Williamson as well.

Ahead of this season’s auctions, they underwent a complete overhaul, releasing Williamson, Nicholas Pooran, Romario Shepherd, Shreyas Gopal, and Many more Domestic players in the Squad. They also promoted former batting coach Brian Lara to head coach.

With the Biggest Budget, Sunrisers Hyderabad will Bid big for the favorite players for the franchise in the IPL mini auction. The most valuable players in the auction will be Ben Stoke or can be Sam Curran for the franchise.
