Sourav Ganguly Picked Himself As A Capitan And Select His Fantasy IPL Team.

During an event in Kolkata, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly expressed his views on the fantasy IPL team by picking himself as a Captain. Strangely instead of selecting his favorite player MS Dhoni, he picked young Rishab Pant as a wicket-keeper.

MS Dhoni is one of the few captains who was most successful in the Indian Premier League. He led Chennai Super Kings with the most successful ratio even with the aged players in the squad. So its quite surprised many cricketing fans for not including Dhoni in Ganguly’s Fantasy IPL Team.

Ganguly also said that for pure fun and entertainment, he picked his Fantasy IPL team. Pant is good wicket-keeper batsman in this generation players. So he doesn’t want any debt on it.

He selected Rohit Sharma as his opening partner. Virat Kholi and David Warner will be followed as a batting lineup after Rohit. The young player Riyan Parag and West Indies player Andre Russell will play the role of All-rounders in the game.

Ravindra Jadeja will be the lone spinner in the squad. Jadeja, who played an unbeaten knock of 39 runs on yesterday evening against West Indies at the Barabati stadium.

Ganguly included current best bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Jofra Archer and Marcus Stonis in his playing XI.

Sourav Ganguly also tweeted about yesterday’s match as Jadeja batting improved a lot. He also said Kohli, Rahul, and Rohit played a good game with the bat in a pressure game. Ganguly also praised Shardul Thakur for his contribution with the bat. Congratulated Indian team on this series decider win against West Indies.
