On Sunday, Sanju Samson, Indian wicket-keeper batsman received a grand welcome in his hometown.in order to play second T20 internationals both the Team India and west indies are landed in Thiruvananthapuram where local cricket Sanju Samson has received a “ Hero’s Welcome”.

Team India leads the three-match series after the comprehensive win over West Indies by 6 wickets in the opener match of the T20I series under the captaincy of Virat Kohli on Friday at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi international cricket stadium. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has shown his aggressive performance by hitting tremendous shots. He played a brilliant knock of 94 runs in 50 balls.

When team India landed at the Thiruvananthapuram’s airport where fans have arranged a grand welcome for 25-year-old local cricketer Sanju Samson.

Rajasthan Royals  took to twitter and posted a video of the grand welcome of the young wicket-keeper batsman and they wrote “A hero’s welcome for Sanju,”

On Saturday, a group of fans was waiting to see Sanju Samson in the squad despite KL Rahul’s batting.
During the first T20I, Shimron Hetmyer has scored his maiden T20I half-century and skipper Kieron Pollard and Jason Holder have also contributed their part to help west indies to post a huge total of 207 for 5.

In reply, India’s opening batsman KL Rahul has smashed his 7th half-century in the shortest format. KL Rahul has played a beautiful knock of 62 runs in 40 balls in the highly intensive chase of 208 run target in the spare of 8 balls.

Along with KL Rahul, it was Virat Kohli who has presented his extraordinary batting performance by hitting big shots straight in the boundaries. He played an unbeaten knock of 94 in 50 deliveries which helped hosts go 1-0 up in the three-match series.

The second T20I of the three-match series is scheduled to play in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
