Sanjay Manjrekar, the former Indian Cricketer, has been a commentator for quite some time. He has been commentating for various big tournaments across the globe. However, he wasn’t among the popular presenters doing the rounds in the World Cricket.

Sanjay always tries to point out other’s weaknesses and shortcomings of other cricketers and always criticize others. During one of the games, he commented MS Dhoni very badly. He called Dhoni as ‘our watch-dog behind the stumps’ where fans became serious on his comments. In spite of this, he went for Ravindra Jadeja called him a player of bits and pieces and said like he didn’t like his quality of play and told that he will rather have a batsman or a spinner in 50-over cricket.

“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner,” – Manjrekar said.

Jadeja couldn’t tolerate on the comments made by Manjrekar. He slammed the experienced commentator by highlighting the number of matches both played in their careers. While Jadeja played 151 ODI’s, 41 tests and 40 T20’s for India at the highest level and Manjrekar has made just 37 Tests and 74 ODI’s where Jadeja is still playing for the current team.

Jadeja tweeted as, “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhea. @sanjaymanjrekar,”
