Ricky Ponting, former Australia skipper and head coach of Delhi Capitals landed in the UAE on Thursday (27-08-2020) and went into a compulsory six-day quarantine period at his hotel room before the starting of the 2020 IPL. From his hotel room, Ponting tweeted “My view for the upcoming 6 days, hotel isolation is officially underway.” The players and other supporting staff of Delhi Capitals had already reached in the UAE on 23rd August.
