RCB vs PBKS Players Battles Head to Head to watch out for Today: IPL 2022

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Punjab Kings Players Battles Preview:

RCB vs PBKS Players Battles, It is the 60th game of IPL 2022 where the Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the Punjab Kings. The Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai will play host to this game. Both teams are packed with match-winners on their side. RCB has a strong bowling outfit while PBKS’ batting is their stronger suit. It will be the battle between two contrasting forces.

We look at the RCB vs PBKS Key Player Battles Head To Head:

#1 Virat Kohli vs Kagiso Rabada

The former RCB skipper, Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch. He has had one fifty to his name. But that half-century cost RCB the game. He got out on a golden duck twice this season. It appears Kohli has to do something out of the box for the runs to flow. Kohli will be facing the Punjab seamer in the opening bout. Rabada who is back into the wicket-taking form will pose difficult questions for Kohli. The duo has had memorable duels over the years. It will be another chapter in this chequered battle.

#2 Dinesh Karthik vs Arshdeep Singh

It will be a flat-out battle between two players who are at their best at the death. Dinesh Karthik has beautifully filled the void left by AB de Villiers. Karthik is striking at 200. He is the leading striker this season. Karthik has taken apart bowlers especially seamers in the end overs. His ability to score around the wicket leaves bowlers hapless. But Arshdeep Singh is an exception. He has choked the best of the batsmen in the death overs. This battle will be keenly followed!

#3 Jonny Bairstow vs Josh Hazlewood

The Punjab opener, Jonny Bairstow finally got back among the runs in the last game. Bairstow got out at the wrong time for PBKS else they could have gone well above 200. He is someone who has a terrific record against RCB. Bairstow recorded his maiden IPL century against RCB.

He is someone who is fantastic at picking up ones and twos. To add to this his power game, he is a complete package. Josh Hazlewood will be a worthy matchup for Bairstow. The pacer might have had an upper hand with the red ball. But this white-ball contest will be a contest worth watching.

#4 Liam Livingstone vs Harshal Patel

He has been Punjab’s trailblazer in the middle-overs. Liam Livingstone is fearless. He is someone who hardly cares about reputation. Livingstone has taken down many bowlers of repute this season. He has allowed PBKS to notch up those 15-20 extra crucial runs. Livingstone will battle it out against Harshal Patel. The RCB pacer is one of the best death bowlers in the competition. Livingstone’s innovativeness will be on display against Patel’s impeccable skill. It will be a mouth-watering matchup!
