Ravindra Jadeja Posts A Mysterious Tweet “Stay Calm” After Sanjay Manjrekar’s Comment

Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar picked his playing XI and left out Ravindra Jadeja. Manjrekar had previously called Ravindra Jadeja a bits-and-pieces cricketer. The former India batsman talked about his selection thought process and explained that he does not have a problem with Jadeja. But he maintained that he does not prefer ‘his kind of cricketers in white-ball cricket’.

Manjrekar put forward that the management should use him as a substitute fielder if needed. The comment had not gone down well with the Indian allrounder, who took to Twitter to express his displeasure.

Yet another time Sanjay Manjrekar gave his thought on why Jadeja shouldn’t be included in line up.“My selection and thoughts are based on a principle that I have learnt over the years: if you have specialists who can walk-in based on one discipline, you fill your team with those players,” Manjrekar was quoted as saying in The Hindu

I do not have a problem with Jadeja; I have a problem with his kind of cricketers in white-ball cricket. Even Hardik Pandya will not be in my team. They add illusionary value to the team. Of course, I have always rated Jadeja highly in the Test format,” he added

Ravindra Jadeja Tweeted Stay Calm After Yet Another Sanjay Manjrekar’s Opinion

Manjrekar called Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer last time around, Jadeja was asking the commentator to stop his ‘verbal diarrhoea’.

Ravindra Jadeja instead of losing his composure this time around, he uploaded a picture with a mysterious message, writing, “Stay calm.” Ravindra Jadeja has prefered to remain calm and he would love to speak with his bat and ball in this series.

Ravindra Jadeja is been very useful for Indian Skipper Virat Kohli as he’s been trusted to bowl complete 10 overs in all 3 matches where he’s bowled economical spell with few wickets where bowling has been difficult on Australian soil. He batted well by adding 104 runs through bat. He made a crucial 66 runs of 50 balls in 3rd ODI which helped india reach 302 runs on scoreboard. Jadeja’s innings led to win for India in 3rd ODI where a series is won by Australia 2-1.

India will be now heading for a T20 series and we will see if indian skipper includes Ravindra Jadeja in T20 too.
