The coronavirus pandemic caused the world to cease. Coronavirus outbreak has generated over 1.7 million deaths worldwide. In addition to human existence, the pandemic has also stopped sporting activity. In the wake of the pandemic, all major sporting events, including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, have been postponed.

The eagerly awaited IPL 2020 has postponed indefinitely to tackle the spread of Kovid-19. Amid this tough situation, the possibility of a resumption of sporting activity appears to be narrow, as many bilateral series has discontinued. This leaves a big question mark on the future of the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Team India’s head coach expressed his views on the situation and said it was impossible to report the future of the World Cup due to its current position. Under the current conditions of going to the world, sport feels like a small part of life. However, the Indian head coach hopes that the start of sports resumption will put a smile on people’s faces.

‘There is so much uncertainty’: Ravi Shastri

“Will Australia have a Twenty20 World Cup in October? We don’t know, or? “There is a lot of uncertainty right now. When we think about the start of sporting activities, it is impossible to say with any certainty,” Ravi Shastri said in an interview.

“Sports forms a very small part of the kind of circumstances we are undergoing. I am sure life would return to normalcy. I personally feel that these testing times should be contributed towards the development of our physical and mental well being” he added.

“Under the circumstances, sport is a small part of life. However, when we do, I think it puts smiles on people’s faces. I believe it contributes to emotional and mental well-being, he added.
