Rahkeem Cornwall who has tried hard to hit boundaries during the clash between St Lucia Zouks and Guyana Amazon Warriors has made a comical runout.

It was all because of his laziness that resulted in a downfall during Caribbean Premier League match over Warriors. The heaviest cricketer in the history of the game forgot to slide his bat in while completing a run.

This happened in the sixth over, where Cornwall is about to complete his run over the line and had made his ground, all he forgot was to land his bat which resulted in a witty run-out.

Being the Zouks opener, he could not get his timing right and could not find the gaps and left scoring 6 runs in 12 deliveries before being run out.

His run-out got the commentators in splits as they could not control their emotions and burst out laughing.

“Rahkeem you’ve got to slide the blade… he’d better go back to the hotel and hide,” former Kiwi player and commentator Danny Morrison said from the commentary box.

Cornwall opened the bowling for his side as well and bowled two overs and conceded 16 runs and picked up no wickets.

Further, it was Brandon King’s who made an unbeaten 81 off 59 balls and took the Warriors over a 162-run chase. Guyana Amazon Warriors beat the Zouks by eight wickets and 10 balls to spare.
