The mega event of India will be starting from 19th August and we will have an astonishing opener between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. We’re going to see some new recruits as few Australian players have decided to not travel for the second leg of the IPL. We’ve seen signings from Rajasthan Royals where they signed Evin Lewis and Punjab Kings signed Nathan Ellis to replace Riley Meredith who decided to not travel to UAE for the remaining games.
Ellis had a great time playing for clubs where he got many wickets and got selected for the International team. Nothing gets better than this for Ellis as he got selected in the IPL by Punjab Kings.
Mohammed Shami is one of my favourite cricketers: Ellis
Talking with Subject to bowling in IPL, Ellis wish to learn from his favourite bowlers. He has named Jasprit Bumrah as the best yorker bowler and also from his teammate Mohammed Shami. He mentioned that he is very excited to have a word with Shami, who is one of his favourite cricketers.
“I don’t really have any specific expectations (from his first IPL). I’m prepared to play against the best players as it is the best T20 tournament in the world. So, I’m very prepared that it’s going to be tough cricket. Also, I am really, really excited to talk to Mohammed Shami. I haven’t spoken to him yet but he’s been one of my favourite cricketers,” said Ellis.
Bumrah definitely is the best yorker bowler in the world: Ellis
Ellis added on how he would pick Bumrah’s brain to bowl the perfect yorkers in the pitch. Later he wants the same energy possessed by Mohammed Siraj on the pitch
“Bumrah is arguably the best T20 bowler in the world, if not in general in all formats. I’d love to be able to get a hold of him and pick his brain if I get the chance. He definitely is the best yorker bowler in the world“.
“So, I’d love to love to pick his brain, as well as Siraj’s. I think the way he has come on to the scene and I love how aggressive and how much energy he brings to the table I think that’s something that I tried to do as well,” concluded death over specialist Ellis.
