World Cup 2019 has witnessed quite a few stars in the stadium. Some of the stars like England football coach Gareth Southgate, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, South superstar Mahesh Babu, and Ed Sheeran was seen witnessing the match.
But none of them has seen that craziness as that of the pop queen Rihanna on Monday’s match between West Indies and Sri Lanka. She was spotted cheering for the West Indies during the World Cup at Riverside Ground. Despite West Indies loss, she was seemed with great spirit and was even seen in the dressing room after the match.
Pop queen Rihanna meets the West Indies all-rounder Chris Gayle in the dressing room and took a picture with him. A video of their meet and the picture were posted on Twitter by Cricket World Cup’s twitter handlers.
Dressing in white and wearing sunglasses, the pop singer gave vocal support to two-time champion, who was in a very bad condition winning only one match in the World Cup.
Rihanna was named as the world’s richest female musician by Forbes magazine.
Sri Lanka made the match against West Indies with 23 runs at Riverside Ground on Monday. Both the teams knew that they wouldn’t be in the list of semi-finals but West Indies tried hard and made nearly a winning score.
