Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the only cricketer to appear in Forbes’ list of the world ‘s top 100 paying athletes for 2020.
Kohli is ranked at number 66 with an estimated $26 million in earnings, as he made a leap from 2019 to over 30 points. Kohli received a whopping $24 million from his endorsements, although just $2 million from the overall total came from his salary and winnings, according to the paper.
Football stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar took spots 2-4 with LeBron James of the NBA, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant at Nos. 5-7, followed by Tiger Woods at No. 8. Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz, the NFL stars fill out the top 10. Two women were in the top 100, the tennis players being both.
