Quinton de Kock was named South Africa Men’s Cricket of the Year at a virtual award ceremony on Saturday (July 4). He also received the Test Cricketer of the Year trophy. Laura Wolvaardt has received both the South Africa Women’s Cricket of the Year awards and the ODI Cricket of the Year awards. De Kock was only the sixth player to win the South African cricket award for the second time in the year. Makhaya Ntini, Kagiso Rabada, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers and Jacques Kallis are the other cricketers who won the award twice.
