Australian legend Shane Warne has opined that ICC should scrap the red ball and should make the pink ball permanent in the Test format. The former Australian captain, who is currently on a commentary panel for Fox Sports, said, “I’ve been saying this for the last few years. I believe the pink ball should be used in all Test matches. Day games, not just day-night games.” Speaking on Fox Cricket’s The Big Break, he said, “I think the pink ball, you can see it easier, the crowd can see it easier,” adding, “it generally does more than the red ball and it looks fantastic on TV.”
