In a recent interview, Mark Wood has expressed his disappointment after the omission in the T20I series and said – “I didn’t think I did a lot wrong in the T20s. I think I did quite well. But last time I was in South Africa I got smacked. Maybe that was a reason I wasn’t picked? I know you are saying about slow wickets but it is very different in South Africa to India. I feel I am in form and can do pretty well even I did alright in the T20 series against Australia”.
